#7: HORROR PLAY

I miss writing horror plays. CW: Graphic content.

HORROR PLAY

All are cast with no semblance at all. Anyone can play these roles. A Nickelback song blasts.

PERSON 1 eats a giant purple spider with red eyes and fangs. Blood spurts everywhere.

PERSON 2 fucks a cantaloupe while attempting to cut off their head with a razor blade.

PERSON 3 screams and all of their teeth fall out of their mouth. A lot of black slime and cigarettes are coughed up as well.

PERSON 4 just repeatedly stabs themselves over and over on loop. Blood sprays everytime.

PERSON 5 goes into the audience and shows them their torn off toenails.

PERSON 6 swallows a sword. Later on, they take a dead pigeon out of their pocket. Carve a hole in it out of scissors.
They fuck the hallowed hole of the pigeon.

PERSON 7 keeps lighting paper on fire and dispensing them into a trash can full of water, singing Ring A Round The Rosey.

PERSON 8 and 9. PERSON 8 is wearing stilettos. PERSON 9 lays down. PERSON 8 stops on their balls, repeatedly

PERSON 10, 11, 12-14. A little girl being forcibly separated from her mother by a police team and beaten.

PERSON 15 comes on with an infinite amount of pages with the names of every POC who has died due to police violence this year, and trans women of color who have been murdered.

PERSON 16 comes on. He says his name is Travis. He’s 20 years old. (He does not look twenty). He’s homeless. He woke up on this train this morning and has no money. He was living with his grandmother until she died last year. He needs to be helped. He starts crying, really, really crying*. He goes into the audience.

PERSON 17 and 18. PERSON 17 is doing the Water Boarding. PERSON 18 is being waterboarded.

PERSON 19 pouring out a bunch of legos and stepping on them.

PERSON 20, a naked vampire covered in blood (who is also in white face and has fangs), starts biting everyone’s neck.

PERSON 21 and 22. Two scantily clad people. One has a collar on the other holds the leash. PERSON 21 keeps pulling the leash.

PERSON 23 and 24. A werewolf and a zombie getting into a fight.

PERSON 25-30. A bunch of old women, walking to one end of the stage and dying, one by one.

In the middle of all this, PERSON 30-40 walk across the stage pretending to see nothing. They range from business people to blue collar workers. All of the “wealthy” drink coffee. The Blue Collar workers are drinking Coke bottles with peanuts in them.

Lights go red for a very long time.

*This happened on my subway car this morning. It was heartbreaking.
